Prediction: Houston [email protected] Milwaukee Bucks, NBA
- Title : Prediction: Houston [email protected] Milwaukee Bucks, NBA
Full disclosure, I am riding the Rockets. I told you all, they are playing their style of play and they don’t care about the opponent. James Harden is the league's unstoppable offensive player. He treats the NBA like a real-life video game. This is a letdown game for the Bucks.
The Milwaukee Bucks and Houston Rockets meet in game two of the eight game sprint to the finish in Orlando on Sunday evening. Both teams are coming off wins on Friday night in their first game back in nearly five months. The Bucks defeated the Boston Celtics by a score of 119-112, while the Rockets outlasted to Dallas Mavericks in overtime, 153-149. Milwaukee won the only meeting of the season between these two teams, 117-111, in October.
The Milwaukee Bucks won their 54th game of the season on Friday, and all but locked up the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. They are seven games up on the second place Toronto Raptors. The Bucks have seven games remaining, while the Raptors have all eight of their games left, so one Milwaukee win or one Toronto loss gives the Bucks the top seed for the playoffs. The Bucks had struggled in the games preceding the stoppage of play in March, having lost three straight and four of their last five.
Houston has two of the top seven scorers in the NBA, with Harden leading the league, scoring 34.6 points per game, and Westbrook averaging 27.5 points per game,
The Houston Rockets overcame an 11-point deficit at the end of the third quarter to force overtime against the Dallas Mavericks, before outscoring Dallas 14-10 in the extra period to gain the 153-149 win. It was the third time this season that the Rockets have scored over 150 points.
My prediction: Alternate Handicaps , Houston Rockets +5.5 @1.68
