The Heat is the reigning Eastern Conference Champs, but they have been playing very average basketball to start the season. On the other side, Milwaukee has been surprising this season. I’m not sure what has been happening with them, but they have not been playing like the Milwaukee we have come to expect over the past few seasons.
I think the Bucks will find their rhythm in this game. I think Giannis steps it up and plays like the Giannis we know.
Miami will have a difficult time filling the hole left by Jimmy Butler, and they are likely to play worse on both sides of the ball without him. If Butler were to play in this game, I would gladly take the Heat in this one, but without him, I’m just not sure how they could cover. I see Khris Middleton and Giannis both having solid games as they cruise to victory in this one.
This game will go over for a few reasons. One, Giannis and Middleton will find success in this game and put up a lot of points. A Miami defense without Butler will have difficulties stopping both of these players for the night. Two, Jimmy Butler has not been producing that much this season for Miami on offense, so I don’t see their scoring being that affected. It will be affected some, but they will still score at least 105. I love the over in this game, and I think there is almost no way it doesn’t hit.
