I'm projecting 229 points for Game 4 of this riveting series. Russell Westbrook remains out, but Danuel House and Eric Gordon continue to produce. With this total ticking down, there is solid value on the Over. It's cashing in nearly two-thirds of all times.
Houston took care of business, opening the series with decisive victories in Game 1 and Game 2. However, the Thunder responded in Game 3, winning 119-107.
Can Thunder even their series with the Houston Rockets on Monday afternoon? That is the question of the day, and could very well be what occurs, especially considering that the “home” team has won each of the first three games. However, The total is set for 220.5. That number has been reached twice through the first three games but would not have had Game 3 not gone in overtime. This is a must win game for Oklahoma City, who simply cannot afford to go down 3-1. That creates a little more tension, which could lead to a few more missed shots.
Even if Harden is not on his game, he is going to be shooting in this contest. I do not see Houston covering the spread, but this is not to be a high-scoring game either. There is going to be just enough scoring to take the over. Look for Houston to win, 112-109.
My prediction: over 218,5 points
