Details:

Houston it is an outstanding three-point shooting team, ranked first in the NBA at 44.9%. They have really stepped up their game since the NBA season resumed, scoring an average of 20.3 three-pointers per game in the Orlando bubble.

It is pretty much put up or shut up time for the Sacramento Kings, as they are in the last place in the Western Conference and have just three seeding games left. That means their battle against the Houston Rockets on Sunday is not just a must-win game but is a reality check that another loss means the season is over.

Houston has a lot to fight for. They are currently in fourth in the West, a half-game ahead of the Utah Jazz, and just one game ahead of the Oklahoma City Thunder. They find themselves just 1.5 games behind the Denver Nuggets for third-place and are playing very well in their seeding games at 3-1.

If things do not already look tough enough for Sacramento, they have not played well against the Rockets of late. Houston has won eight of the last 10 meetings between these two teams, including four the last five. They have met twice this season, with both games played in December. The Kings won on December 9, 119-118, while the Rockets won on December 23, 113-104.

The Kings look to have an edge, as it is expected that superstar Russell Westbrook may sit out for a second straight game, but that did not seem to affect Houston in their victory over the Lakers. Sacramento dodged a bullet when Richaun Holmes went down 11 minutes into the contest with Brooklyn. However, he is expected to play. The hip injury does not look to be serious.

Houston have 5-1 in the last meetings. That is an important statistic to keep in mind as there are number of trends that would seem to support taking the Kings and the 5 points in this contest.. Houston playing better and that the kings and they win this game.

Prediction: Houston cover the spread on -5 points.
