Brighton have dominated many of their games without converting chances, which at least suggests at a run of wins being just around the corner. The visitors on the other hand are starting to look out of their depth in to top flight, even though west brom are slowly getting to grips in the tougher prem league, they will probably find this a very tough trip to brighton and hove its a tough place to get a result at the moment. I believe that the home side are definitely the better side come and even though the newly-promoted away team are not playing badly I believe that the home side should definitely be able to win them with home advantage and experience in the league. 2-0?
Brighton have been involved in a few close matches recently and drew their last match 1-1 with Crystal Palace. West Brom are one place below them in the table and with 2 draws in the last 3 matches.I can't see West Brom at the moment testing a really well organised Brighton team. If nothing goes wrong with Brighton - like a stupid sending off like England. I can only see this resulting in an easy Brighton victory.
Brighton just cannot seem to catch a break this season. They have played some beautiful football in every game they have played and have been incredibly unlucky in most. With 65% possession and 20 shots at goal against Palace, they will feel extremely hard done by only managing a 1-1 draw, not to mention leaving it until the 90th minute. Their curse must finally be broken this weekend against West Brom, a side who are yet to win a game.
I believe that the home side are definitely the better side come and even though the newly-promoted away team are not playing badly I believe that the home side should definitely be able to win them with home advantage and experience in the league.
My prediction: Brighton win FT.
(Neal maupay will score,he has been brilliant and in good form and in their previous meetings he has been outstanding and he will have to prove)
A day of firsts for the Seagulls. First Premier League win and goals back in 2017.
