Juventus Turin took advantage of the mistakes of the competition and scored an important win against Bologna. Right in the middle: Weston McKennie.

Because Milan (0: 3 against Atalanta) and Inter (0: 0 in Udine) failed on Saturday, Juventus had a great opportunity to catch up with the two leaders of Serie A against Bologna on Sunday afternoon. And when the sun was shining in Turin, things got off to a good start: Schouten faked an actually harmless long-range shot by Arthur and made it 1-0 for Juve (15th).

Bologna, only 13th, acted courageously and at times very aggressively, but remained unlucky in the decisive actions. On the other hand, the conspicuous Cuadrado missed a good counter chance (33rd) after Bernardeschi failed twice against Skorupski (28th). Soriano almost punished that, but pushed the leather from the edge of the penalty area past the right post (40th).

Even after the break, the guests went on it early, missed an almost own goal from Cuadrado (Szczesny reacted brilliantly, 48th) but again equalized, then no longer necessarily came in front of the goal of the series champions and caught that in the 71st minute 0-2 - McKennie headed a corner from Cuadrado freestanding and unpacked the imaginary wand while cheering. The Schalke loan celebrated their third goal of the season and the 2-0 final score.
